a g-suit is a suit that applies pressure to the lower extremities to keep the blood in the upper torso, as the g-load get stronger the legs and abdomen constrict, the are positive and negative g-loads, 8 neg g's will make most people blackout where a fit person can stand 10 pos g's for a short time, stunt pilots actually have high g tolerances and can with stand 14 g's in short intervals
