Senseless brutality to such a wonderful, smart and gentle creature. How Japan allow or permit this to continue is beyond human comprehension. Go Sea Shepherd! Keep up the fight.

You know, I find truth in that too, I think nature eliminates detrimental species for the benefit of the ecosystem balance. See what happened to dinos; they're gone for good with their voracious fury at other species. Either we evolve or we will perish under our created detrimental force and like dinos, nature can wipe us all out for good too...

I'm not a superstitious/religious person but makes me believe that Mother Ocean had a reason for sending that tsunami

It is not true Sea Shepherd have cut the kill by 50%. At best all the groups which involved - not just Sea Shepherd - might have cut the kill by 50 to 100 or so dolphins at the most, but the truth is last season's kill was just an average sized kill. In 2010, 1,297 dolphins were killed. If we look at the figures for previous years, they are: 2009 - 1,242 2008 - 1,495 2007 - 1,239 2006 - 1,624 2005 - 1,062 2004 - 1,676 2003 - 877 2002 - 2,018 2001 - 1,226 2000 - 2,077
