Interesting comment below.....A Horse either carries or drags the rider. The shoulders forward, hunched back and pelvis movement are all components of carrying the rider. Conversely, riding the cantle, poker rod stiff, feet in the shoulder, and not in time with the horse is dragging the rider. The horse that drags the rider may have a sore loin and other injuries, compared to one that carries the rider. Of course, the rough stock rider may disagree !!

I have to admit, she can train, but she sure can't ride! (shoulders forward, haunched back, hands too high up, and too much movement in the pelvis! )
