For the Xound Remix-Contest the ENIGMA mastermind Michael Cretu himself has supplied us with the original studio tracks of his "Downtown Silence" sessions.

To enter the contest, you´ve to register.

After the costfree registration you can download the song as a Magix Samplitude-project. No need to worry if you don´t have a copy of Magix Samplitude. A free 30 Day trial version of the professional sequencing software is also available for download.

Using these original tracks every remixer can create their own style, cut the material, use the professional effects and bounce the final session as they please. Downtown Silence is originally an instrumental song, but its up to you if you want to add vocals. Your final mix can be uploaded here as a mp3-file (max. 256 kbit/s), where Michael Cretu himself will discuss and judge your work.
