What's crazy to me is that some of the true-believer Republicans will watch this and say that Dick Cheney is the rational one in the argument. Cheney is a big reason why the Bush administration ended up in this international debacle called Iraq. So bad that at the end of the administration nobody would listen to him anymore. My torture issue is how it defines us as a society. Torture is for brutal third world regimes not advanced societies like our own. Its just a moral issue for me. Not to mention that traditional interrogation methods have proven to be even more effective than using torture. You also have to consider the fact that at least some of the men we have in custody may indeed be innocent...then how do you feel knowing that some poor bastard that did nothing wrong was tortured on our behalf

I don't play favorites. When Bush messed up he was at fault. Now Obama is messing up, he is at fault. People can voice any objection they want. Cheney can. I think he makes better points than Biden here. If he wants to do that let him. He isn't saying anything that we all don't know already. Obama's admin is handling the terrorist situation like they have no clue. It's the majority belief. Even kids know they should be tried in military courts. Everyone knows but Obama's admin.

When Biden talks about the NY terror trials is when you know they don't know what they're doing. Everyone knows it should be kept quiet and done in a military court. Even the dumbest of the dumb knows that. Obama is still trying to look like a nice guy. What for? They're terrorists.. Biden even admits it was an act of war. I think he's stuck because the far left wants to do this and is talking for Obama and his admin. This must have been Nancy Pelosi's decision.

Cheney needs to let go. He is not the VP anymore and I think he is having a hard time letting go of that fact. Everyone knows the Obama admin is a screw up on national security. The best thing to do is to avoid putting yourself in a dangerous situation while Obama is in the WH.
