I am costarican, and for the first time in my life I can say i am embarrased of being one. I hate our stupid government and our useless laws. I hope we can still save sharks. I'm Chinese and I watched this documentary today.

It's just been a tradition in Asia for ages - and after watching this film, I've decided to stop having it.

But that won't change much: they'll still continue to serve in in China. So unless it's properly banned and illegal in the country, we can't stop it.

they eat sharks' fins cause they think that by doing so, they will be able to prevent themselves from getting illnesses, as they think that sharks do not get diseases such as cancer, among others. well, sharks get sick as well. it's so friggin' stupid, man.
