Didn't IBM use to make there own power PC architecture back in the 90s the consumer market and create there own consumer buyable PCs?

True, but they don't make computers for the consumer market anymore. They've gone business only. I wonder what it be like if they never left the consumer market?

they made the triple core CPU for the Xbox 360 and also helped design the Cell processor as the main PU in the Cell is a IBM PU
