( http://www.26nc.org ) The 26th NC Regiment, Reactivated is a Civil War reenacting organization based in North Carolina. With over 200 members, we are the largest single reenacting regiment in North Carolina and possibly the nation. We commit ourselves the preservation of the memory of the Confederate soldiers from North Carolina and their role in the American Civil War. As a unit, We have many facets including components representing not only infantry but also field music, medical, commissary, artillery, cavalry, and civilians. We are also a full fledged historical society who is actively involved in artifact preservation projects through a partnership with the North Carolina Museum of History. Since 2004, the 26th NC has raised over $58,200 for historic preservation, artifact loans, and/or monument placement. We hope you will visit our website to learn more about us at http://www.26nc.org.

  • Whats the name of the song ? please tell me I like it alot!

  • It is called "High Price Victory". See the earlier posting below for more information.

  • This video is awesome. Were the reenactors playing both blue and gray?

  • Yes, the members of our regiment portrayed both sides for the video. We have dual impressions and portray Federals from time to time.
