@RoastyHat Looking at scans of the ocean floor, there is no lost continent there. I am as a matter of fact watching Aincent Aliens on my TV now as I type this.
Just because I find no stock in the story of Atlantis, I do believe it could still be based on something in reality. I do keep a very open mind. About the Carl Sagan thing and life after death. Consider this. Energy can't be destroyed, only change form. Humans are so advanced over all other animals. Why can't spirits exist?

@BFKAnthony817 geez, alot of you people seem to have lost hope believing in the existence of these things,Just like when carl sagan said believing in life after death is wishful thinking /:
-
@legbreaker No, there are just a lot of greedy people shoehorning different old myths together so they can sell you books and vacations to "spiritual" retreats. These myths don't actually fit together like they claim they do.

This is the smartest Atlantis video I've ever seen. Ever.

-seafood and guarding against rising sea levels, the modern versions of these names are names like Vagg, which relates to the Danish word vagt,or guard, and across the other side of the channel you have names like War which relates to the word weir, etc. There are a large percentage of western European names that I believe can be traced back to the time of Atlantis

I think there was a large civilization living on sea food not long after the last glacial maximus, these people inhabited the coast and wet lands on the west coast of Europe and Africa, there would have been an abundance of seafood particularly on the north sea plain,
I believe the people of these cultures can still be identified by there name.these names are based around the occupation of guarding, names connected two structures such as barriers, garths, weirs, etc. that had a dual purpose,catching-

There are a lot of pieces found and if you are willing to let go the things we've been thaught at school. We have to come up with an ancient civilization. I think maybe 2% survived and thats what we find todays as baalbek, puma punku etc. Our vision is biased due to our own achievements. We think civilization comes within evolution, well that fact doesnt fit. At some point we were in our caves and all of a sudden there was sumer and the atlantis plato survivings.
-
which isnt logical compared to our own evolution is seen as fantasy. Proof? yeah they found things older than 15.000 years BC, but researchers are very carefull to come into the open, because humanity back then were cavemen and absolutely not able to build things like Puma Punku or Baalbek or the pyramides (thats what we assume). Humanity would be shocked because our own history would be completely wrong. So we blame it one aliens, and therefor we can still believe in our own peak of humanity.
We have a guy that is saying it never existed. His argument is based on nothing but his theories 10,000 years after the event. Plato said that it did! Who is the fool looking for his 15 mins? He takes you through a labyrinth of his own myths not truth. Atlantis was a land mass that is no longer due to the Earth’s plate tectonics. There are signs all around us that proves Atlantis existed, but we are blinded by our own ego & ignorance. We are sleepwalkers mumbling in our sleep distorting truth.

@peterxpoulos It is true that Plato lived only 8000 years after 'the event', which would make his story much more accurate.

I agree with this video 100%! I still want to believe in it though, even though I know it was not ever true.
Kudos for researching everything extensively before you made this video, I hope others will see that it doesn't add up.

@BFKAnthony817 We can still enjoy the idea of it. And I think in the decades ahead, as more and more details are discovered and understood about the beginnings of civilization, we'll find that story is even more fantastic than the legend of Atlantis.
