It is amasing however that he has this power of memory and some brain function to acctually zoom and see the pictures he sees clearly and when he wants. If we did the same, just looked and went trough the book we would have the same information, pictures, in our uncontious minds. But the difference is we can't recall them just like he does. It seems with Derren as being capable to go into his uncounscious and open them as easy as that.

But reading the book doesn't mean he knows what he read. He acctually looked in the book - pictures. It is almost like when we read something and than we realise we have no idea what we were reading (so we were thinking of something) and we need to reread it. If he wants to know the book he needs to really read it, on the table or in his mind including the brain activity to understand.

This is not so difficult to understand. It is not somethig we all can do. It has to do with the photographic memory indeed. I've seen it in some movie where the same thing was mantioned as a phenomenon. Not necessarly a wonder or a lie. I believe he has trained his memory so well, and he can recall it in pictures.

This is a speedreading technique often performed by Derren Brown. The unconsious mind is observing any information in any books through this kind of photoreading. You can recall this memory later using this technique correctly. Actually anyone can do it:) Derren Brown rules btw=)

you actually have to be born with it, but most people are, and if you are, you need to work on it to improve it, kinda like perfect pitch, if your a musician.
