  • @TruthUnbelievable i already did bro all is fine now :)

  • @jhonex0814 Update ur bios

  • i just got this board last month with an FX8120 cpu, the problem was the board wont post thats because the board was not updated to the latest bios which supports 8 core cpus of AMD, the problem was solved when i bought an old phenom which the board supports... asus should not wrote something on the box which is not true :(( now im out of budget because of the hassles :(( thumbs up so that asus could see this!!!

  • I am still waiting for my Rampage Extreme RMA, Great products horrible customer service

  • @navyteccs Amber Lighting would be very good

  • @sjkreid3D no it would not. Only an AM3 and an AM3+ cpu will fit in the AM3+ Socket.

  • @absoluteblkade3 thanks for quick reply! Yea I might go for a Phenom II x6 instead. Here you see to know your stuff, would an AM2 scythe katana 2 fit an AM3+ socket?

  • @sjkreid3D for the current motherboards im afraid that's impossible. The only way that would happen is if they shipped the motherboards with updated bios already installed. Even then there's no way too tell before hand if you're getting an updated one or not. Just get a really cheap AM3 processor or In my opinion the current Phenom ll x6 1100T is the best way too go instead of getting an AM3+ CPU. Especially if you're gaming.

  • @absoluteblkade3 will this bios issue ever be resolved so you can just buy an FX series with this mobo? I'm making a new build soon with 990FX and FX6100 but i don't want to shell out for an AM3 processor just to upgrade the BIOS! :S
