I know, right? lol I might have just had infinite battery life in my hands.

I've tried the full battery charge, I turned it on and left it for a couple of hours. When I pulled it out, turned on WiFi usually it drains the first chunk in 5 minutes. it was still full, even with GPS, still full. I lasted 2 DAYS with constant Wifi. STILL FULL. It baffled me till I knew something was wrong. I turned it off, and when I turned it back on it said 1%, then It switched off!

hi guys my name is john i need help with my g1 one day i was using my phone and set it to my table and i didnt see my battery level and forgot to charge it and it just died on me so when i was trying to charge it its dont want to charge HELP

@mastermind7771 while that is true it causes the chemicals in the battery to pass through the filter faster and thus die out faster. it is good to do it every once and a while but everyday users that let it happen all the time have to buy a new one more often, so for the everyday average user i say dont let it die. but this is all for lithium batteries.

@ProjectZro Actually, it's better if you let it drain to condition the battery. That way the phone's battery stats can recognize the full capacity of the battery. Conditioning the battery should be done with any electronic device, actually.

@vendornet7 i need help with this badlllyyyy! its geting annoying. every time i cahrge my g1 while it is on andits siting there charging untouched instead of charging it drains the battery. yet when i have it completly off and hook it up to the charger it chargs perfectly fine! pleasee if theres any way i can fix this problem tell me!
You should do more full battery charges to tune your battery.
In Android 1.5 (a.k.a. Cupcake) this battery problem is partial solved. It takes much more time to fully charge. And the battery takes a little bit more and when you turn the phone of and again on, you get only 5-7% more battery power. Seems they have fixed this issue. I hope :)
