This is the first of many DOS demos from the 1990s demo scene that I'm going to share via YouTube. It's called "BB," and runs entirely in DOS! No images, no graphics, no color even! Everything you see here is just text on the screen.
Because of the relatively low quality of my capture board, I had to choose a very large text mode that would be visible in this movie format (80x25 in this case). When you run this program on a computer monitor directly, you can run the demo at extremely high text modes (up to dual-monitor 280x120) and see much more detail!
This was captured directly off my Cyrix 686MX 166MHz computer running DOS 6.22 on a Pinnacle Studio 700 capture device.
Note: I am still trying to get my Gravis UltraSound card to work, so the music was dubbed over after I captured the video. It may be out of sync with the original, but it is the correct music. Also, the video runs a little faster being that there was no sound. But it's all still here ^__^
