Expediton Everest (POV) Yeti A Mode!

My first attempt at a POV video! One of my favorite rides, everest.

This was taken when the Yeti was in A mode. If you ride it today, instead of seeing the Yeti moving, you will only see strobe lights and him stationary.

It's a shame that the Imagineers are settling for a corny strobe light rather than repairing this massive animatronic figure. ;o;

How big is the backwards drop?

The backwards drop isn't really a "drop", it's just a spiral (sort of like the outside one on this ride), but backwards and going downhill. I do know that the top speed backwards is 40mph.

yeah i heard some guy had a heart attack and died on that ride because he thought the tracks were really broken...?

Well someone already had a heart attack on the ride... found unconsciousness at the unload station at the end. But it was unclear why he had a heart attack, everest isn't that intense!

I remmember getting paired up with a lady about 80 years old on this, the whole time I was thinking "DON'T DIE! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE DON'T DIE!"

The only thing wrong with it is the dealt cement base cracked. They are waiting for the next refurbishment to fix it.

Back when it used to HUMP that second lift hill! :D The sound quality is horrible. By the way you scream like a little girl. :P What you "know" is what you read, unless you actually RUN the thing. :P
