Agreed with Fesr90. Do your homework before slandering Rommel's name. He was a soldier for the German Army. Not the Nazi party. If he was a Nazi, why would he blandly disobey Hitler's " Commando Order" ?

@1polonium210 yes to an extent the Germans were rebuilding in secret and practicing for its new kind of warfare during the inter war years. Germany tested its equipment in during the Spanish Civil War. I don't think the Americans and the Allies did to darn bad in a 4 year war build up and training ending in the defeat of Germany. I the German Generals were so great they would have assasinated Hitler. They were good at the craft of killing, I will not put them up on a pedestal.
