THIS IS MY HPI SAVAGE RUNNING TRAXXAS VELINEON SYSTEM. I WAS NOT USING A LIPO BATTERY , ONLY A LITTLE 7.5V NIMH 1800MAH. IM NOT GOING TO KEEP THE CAR LIKE THIS AS I LIKE MY RUSTLER.

I have a spare Velineon system and a Savage with a bad engine, and I really want to do this conversion. I know Kershaw Designs makes a conversion kit, but $70 seems steep for what I believe is just a mounting plate... Do you have instructions on how you made the mount? Were any other mods necessary? Thanks!

i made the mounting plate out of a bit off flat alloy , the only thing i suggest u get is a battery tray
