Streets of Rage - The Elevator of Death

A stupid, pointless video of me playing Streets of Rage. If you haven't played it, do it. It's available on the Wii virtual console. You should play the second and third, too. They're even better!

This is probably my favorite level in the game. It really satisfies me to throw punks off elevators to their gruesome deaths.

I know everyone is going to eat me alive for this, but Streets of Rage 1 sucks ass. Number 2 is good, and the Golden Axe games are good, but SOR1 is just shit.

@MajBlood Well, to each their own. IMO, the Golden Axe games haven't aged well at all. It's seriously a dash fest.

@InexplicableHat i 100% agree with you, i grew up on a SNES playing mortal kombat and street fighter II, but in my opinion SOR is what made me addicted to SEGA genesis, and i think that SOR and sonic the hedgehog 2 are the best games ever on the SEGA console, that's segas bread and butter without them games, i dont believe thaSEGA would have been as popular! i wish that SOR would have continued on the PSX with SOR 4 or even part 5, because in 1995 Genesis was pretty much dead

@falloutgeck i basically grew up playing streets of rage 2, back in 1992 me and my friends would stay up all night on Friday and Saturday nights playing streets of rage 2, it brings back so many memories. when i first played SOR 1 i thought it was kind of odd compared to part 2, because i was so use to part 2. but i learned to like SOR 1 and i have to admit some of the music is 10x better on SOR1 rather than part 2. i wish they would have made a SOR 4 and continued with SONY since sega diedin95

@mukaikof I agree Streets of Rage one is the best, I don't really like the others I think they look too anime and I don't really like anime much. I also grew up playing Streets of Rage 1 so it grew on me whereas the others didn't. Watch my 2 player solo play through where I control both Adam and Blaze on my channel!

@MajBlood actually i disagree with you, i think SOR 1 is actually a favorite. i also like part 2, but part 3 really sucks...... sor 1 is so original!!

This was the best design of Blaze IMO.

Ah, Royal Rumble mode as my mate called it. Best played with a mate, and you try to keep count of who chucked more guys off the side. Winner gets to choose if you're going for the bad end or not. Bags of fun and we still play it, even though it's been years.

@SpartanUnDead That's one of the reasons i always loved blaze even as a kid. Her judo throwing skill are impressive.

1 was a fun game at the time and i still enjoy it now. do think the best one was 2 but its your opinion mate
