It's PAL difference, I can get similiar results on a real pal nes with the pal cartridge.
It really depends on how you emulate it, you can either just get higher octave or faster speed. I recall the real deal being the same to that video.
that cartridge has a generic us/jap rom inside the chip. (ntsc)

Seems like the audio in the metacafe video is faster than normal, rather than the audio in this being slower than normal.
-
I've played this game A LOT, and I'm almost positive that the music in this video is the exact same speed. Good luck finding its origins!
-
maybe it's a 50 hz bootleg cart for european market.
wich run a bit slower than those 60 hz carts
-
its a bootleg cart. If you open the cart you'll probably see a glob of black stuff instead of a chip. I'd put money on this.

The music doesn't slow to me. It sounds normal to me.
-
It doesn't seem slower at all. The label may be prize related?
-
the music is not slower than the usual. i've always played the PAL version and it has the same speed....
-
Sounds right to me

sounds the same to me tbh
Go to MetaCafe and watch the video titled "Super Mario Bros Video Walkthrough World 1-1." The music in that video is faster.
