Languishing away on CBBC lurks the best sketch show the Beeb have made in years - HORRIBLE HISTORIES! Here's just a tiny nugget: a post match interview following another classic 'game' between some very hungry lions and some very tasty Christians.

And also, the Crusades were a defensive response against Turkish aggression and power grabbing in the Christian Holy Land so that's another ridiculous analogy.
Accually those were uneducated people that didn't care to tell their leaders what they were doing was against the Bible because they couldn't read. So we are not the same as those back then.
Ask Christians in India, Pakistan, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt, Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Iran, North Korea, etc. You need to get more informed about what is going on in the world and watch a little less Bill Maher.
Who's Bill Maher? The Crusades where not defensive. And the crusades where not against the Turkish expansion. The Crusaders waged war against Slavs, Jews, Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians, Mongols, Cathars, Hussites, Muslims, Waldensians, Old Prussians and many others. Im sure that every single one of these peoples where an aggressive threat (not true).
I did not say that Christians do not die for their faith today. I just do not think there are as many deaths for christianity today. :)
Bill Maher is a so called American comedian on television who routinely says hateful, bigoted statements about God and religious people, mainly Christians. I'm glad you've never heard of him. I'm sorry, but I would love to know which history books are telling you that the Crusades did not start as an attempt to retake Christian kingdoms in the Holy Land that were taken by force by the invading Turks. Where do you go to school, Iran? That type of ignorance is really troubling.
This information was sourced from The Oxford History of the Crusades. Oxford University is known throughout the world as a world leading institution of learning. These history books are correct.
What is your source to support your claims?
I never said hateful statements about God. I went to church on Christmas Eve. I was just protesting against your claim that the Crusades were defensive. If the crusaders were against Turkish Expansion then why did they sack Constantinople?
