Jesus wasn't fat or British.

Okay... I get that these people are persecuted for being Christians, but it should sadden people to know other human beings were treated this way, regardless of their religious beliefs.

As a Christian, I genuinely feel sorry for the Christians. Fortunately, the story has a happy ending, for in AD 313, Emperor Constantine allowed us Christians to worship freely.

I think it's a testament to the quality of BBC programming, that a show intended to educate Children, is 100 times better then 90% of the adult comedy drivel that the United States Produces

@JordoF6 hey don't judge us all by the crazy radicals,

Wish they ate all the religious bastards we would have flying cars by now if it wasn't for those fuckers.

don't no wot the argument was but great (yet fair) comeback

@321XbethX123 I've found that in some of the Horrible Histories books there has been some sympathy for Christians in Roman times, while pointing out the stupidities of the Medieval times.

merlock, you seem to be the one missing the point of history considering you are favoring your side. Christians did exterminate Jews, Muslims, and pagans throughout most of history. Fact is, religion is the tool of controlling the simple-minded (such as many people on here), and it is often used to destroy others who are different. Sure, this could be viewed as tasteless for mocking the suffering and death of others, but really--does it affect you? Did you know these people? No, didn't think so.

@cricketrecords No...the First Crusade was called originally as a response to the Byzantine emperor asking for assistance against the Turks, but "the Crusades" were not defensive as a whole, particularly since it had nothing to do with its original intent, as anything rarely ever does.
im a christian but not offended over this... its history, theese things happen

@merlock101 Missing the point? I'm not the one who's upset over an educational program for children that seeks to teach history in a way that's interesting and encourages them to learn. Your sensibilities that extend to before the Common Era appear to be far too delicate for tame material like this. History is not politically correct; get over it and don't watch if it offends.
Your opinions are whitewashed and biased, showing your education to be lacking. Pointing fingers is not an argument.
