A very sunny afternoon in the backyard with Mama hummingbird

Just wanted to share this with you guys! Hope you enjoy it : ) Sorry the quality is low, it was so bright that the camera couldn't handle it very well. And apologies for my shaky camera work and abrupt zooming. I'm still getting used to this filming thing haha.

Wow, how cool that the hummingbird is nesting in your back yard, and in a vulnerable looking rose bush (I would have thought that a more protected nesting site would have been preferable).

Do you get a chance to see the hummingbird fly around much? PS: There are no hummingbirds in Australia.

Yeah hummingbirds are funny. We've had several nesting in our backyard and they usually make their nests in low, vulnerable places. I don't know why. The hummingbirds fly around our house all the time : ) There are a lot of them out here. If I get a chance, I'll try to film them flying, but it would be difficult. They move so quickly!
