Polar bears can swim at a speeds of 4-6 mph and paddle non-stop for 100 miles. I think this one can make it back to the guy shootin the video.

@jatman12 Ah no you put ice in a glass then top it up with water it will no overflow as the ice has already displaced the water.As for icebergs the have a verysmall portion above water but its weight is already displacing the water.The only times oceans may rise is land ice melting into rivers or sea.Anyhow there is nothing to worry about as the weather is overall cooling not warming although warming would be better,just like more co2 would be better!!!

@2wheels88 and if ice is lighter than water it is sitting on the top not displacing it because the full volume is not in the water so when it melts the ocean raises because more water is being added its sort of like if you have a glass of water with an ice cube in it. when the ice cube melts you now have more water in the glass then you started with.

@2wheels88 LOL. your stupidity amuse me. Most polar bears will be gone by 2050. Global warming has caused their natural habitat to be destroyed and hunters etc etc. and melting ice in the Artic does not raise sea levels? Learn your facts before you say something. Its the reason why sea level are rising at an increasing rate.

@artboy98 I don't know where you get your info from but polar bear numbers have increased to almost alarming numbers in all but 2 colonies in Canada so there is no problem except finding hunters to Cull the numbers if nescessary.Melting ice in the Arctic does not raise sea levels as the ice is already displacing water.The southern ice has grown thicker over the years.Why don't you go to my channel and here what scientists have to say at the 2011 6th International conference on climate change.
