  • this things are absolutely useless... trust me! all they do is block airflow towards the gpu(where you'll most likely put it anyway). if you want to cool down your PC all you need to get is a better case with good wire management and provides good airflow and that's it. dont waste your money on this useless products.

P.S. i am in no way saying deep cool products are crap. a lot of their cpu coolers and fans are very good products. im only saying accessories like this are practically useless.

Rather strong opinion. Do you have any data to back your claim other than to just trust you?

  • @salesbergAustralia i bought one once. it was a thermaltake pci slot fan, if i remember correctly. i wanted to use it as an exhaust for the warm air coming from my gpu. the results were that my gpu never got cooler but my system temp (most likely motherboard) increased by 1-2C. i wouldn't diss a product if i didnt know they were useless man. ask any pc tech forum out there and they'd tell you useless accessories like that shouldn't be bought/advertised.

Could not comment about any Thermaltake exhaust fan, though I'm sure it was a reasonable product. I'm sure there are purpose built graphics card cooler available in the market that fits your card.

As with this exhaust, it works about 17.18CFM of air which is about half that of a 120mm case fan. I have often placed these at the very bottom of the case or at the top most and yes with desired effect. Cases like Antec Sonata, Coolermaster Sileo and so forth benefits from this

  • Nice vid keep it up!

  • @salesbergAustralia hey thanks but I know it takes one slot but does it occupy the one next to it? like how a big graphics card does..?

  • @Eminemflocka

Hi, it does take just one PCI slot. Though if there are cards blocking the air intake may reduce its effectiveness...

  • @salesbergAustralia does it only take up the space of one slot or two?

  • dose the fan suck both ends and blows throu the back or is it only sucking one side ?
