The swarthy crew return to Eric's apartment to discuss their favorite and least favorite Oscar winning movies. Have plenty of nachos and pigs in a blanket should you feel hungry
ET was the only movie that deserved the oscar and didn't get it. Also, I think that Platoon was the worst movie that won the oscar of the movies that I''ve seen that have won.
Last of the Mohicans is my biggest gripe, total snub and easily better than all the films nominated. At the very least it should have had Best Cinematography and Best Director nominations.
I think forrest gump is a good movie, i do like it. But i do agree, its so so overated, its just simple idea, simple story thats. First time i saw it i was that was good, didnt even make me rethink my life at all. But i wasent bored, it was a good movie, with someone good moments with the stuff in vietnam and when hes running and some touching moments, but its just a simple movie, its not up there with the greats just overated, i think the acting in it is fine to. But, its not life changing.
dances with wolves is still a great film regardless of whether goodfellas is better and that idiot who said no country for old men had no competition...zodiac? there will be blood? the assassination of jesse james? before the devil knows you're dead? even if some of them werent nominated they were still better than no country¬
@MCFoltz What are you babbling about? No one cares to read your grotesque fantasies on youtube. Seek help, you are far too frustrated. No amount of your pathetic ranting will make TFOTR any less boring after the Balrog.(more than likely you're one of these cinefile tools...either the fruit that that loved TFOTR, the token black, the sniveling rat, or the whatever)
@Hellzyead Oh yeah, Fellowship was so boring after the Balrog. Sorry there wasn't any 'splosions or donkey punches. I'm sure if you write Peter Jackson and mention this, he'll try and raise the bar. Now, Hellhead or whatever the fuck you're called, go back to the bus depot and suck some more dick for baseball card money. And stay JUST the way you are, princess :)
"McCabe & Mrs. Miller" was the best film of 1971, not "The French Connection." And what the fuck, you don't know that Marlon Brando won best actor for "On the Waterfront"? And "The Cider House Rules" and "Traffic" flub? Goddamn, come on, rat, token black guy, douche, and fruit, get it together!
Brando won for On The Waterfront.
