Exposure to 300 rad (3 Gy) Produces visible reddening on the skin

Doeses of aproximateley 1500 rad (15 Gy) will result in serious burns.

3000 rad (30 Gy) will result in werry serious burns. Amputation will be needed.

The machine looks a bit too new for Unit 731. Plus the one they would have had would probarbly be equiped with chains and straps to hold the unwilling subject steady for better acuracy, Howewer we get the picture.

@DrFlox And btw. The use of an atomic weapon may seem "unusual and cruel punishment" to us normal people, but the experiments of the Japanese are whats "unusual and cruel". We would never do this to our enemies. We hold ourselves to a much higher standard then scum like this. These are our laws. The laws of the Imperial Japanese condoned raping women under Imperial rule, girls as young as 13, raped by 60 Jap solders a day. 1 in 4 POWs died in Jap hands. 1 in 26 in German hands.

The government of Japan also forced us to drop those weapons. They knew full well what was coming their way should they not surrender, they instead spit in our face. Guess what? @DrFlox Well. This is an argument that you need to do some research on to understand fully. Firstly, when you have a decision to make that will either send less then 200,000 of your enemies to their death, or sending millions and millions of both your enemies and your allies to their death, which would you choose? Secondly, the Japanese did not have "civilians" as you and I think of civilians. Every person in that country at this time was taught in schools that theyre racially superior
