My Galaxy S2 was also extremely easy. If I remember correctly, all I had to do was use a Odin program on the PC w/ S2 plugged in--->Flash a root file----->Reboot--->Click Root device-----> Tada! Root Access.

Now you tell me, how easy is it to jailbreak an iphone 5.......*Cricket sounds*

I own a Nexus 4 (as well as Galaxy Nexus, and Nexus S). I get the latest updates when they are released, thanks to owning a pure Google device. Even my old 2010 Nexus S is running official Jelly Bean.

The reason why I refuse to get any other android devices is for the simple fact that they get their updates delayed by the Manufacturer & Carrier.
