I remembered when Jim Henson died. He and Sammy Davis Jr died on the same day.
I grew up watching Sesame Street, The Muppets movies, Fraggle Rock and The Muppets show. TV cartoons are not the same these days.

Sadly, Jim Henson and the Muppets were not apart of my childhood... Not until just recently have I discovered the greatness of Jim and his creations. The Muppets make me feel like I have a purpose. Like everything will be okay. Not matter how hard things get, I know I can turn to them for a few laughs, and good advice. The Muppets are everything that is good and decent left on this earth. God bless you, Jim Henson. And thanks. From the lovers, the dreamers, and me.
