  • One of the most uplifting songs of its time !

  • @Aqene1000 : YES baby :))))

  • Purchase the Deluxe 2CD set chronicling the entire career of this alterna-chart topping outfit from Sydney circa: 1984 - 1989. Resplendent in all it's pyschedelic glory, 'The Collection' captures the band's entire recorded output. Go to the website 'feelpresents' then click on the 'record label' tab.

  • lyrics?

  • not positive but I think it goes something like:

Turn your head, across the sea, wave your sorrow, wait for me, and with my eyes, I see your face , drifting slowly in this place, and now it seems, theres no time to fill, all these hours, standing still, and where I am, it might not be there, a place I know, I will disappear......another day in the sun, another day in the sun...

  • Excellent ,very heartfelt and loose, free flowing, real.Great guitar and when that piano kicks in in the chorus its something magic. If you like the Moffs try a band from Melbourne who were around at about the same time called Tyrnaround.

  • @fery2 How many cones had you had?

  • Awesome song, great band. Love the guitar work, as someone who saw a lot of bands in Sydney in the 80s and 90s you can hear a certain time and place.

  • 1st saw these guys in winter 1984 @ Greenwoodtree Pub Oxford st with friends. We 5/6 were the only ones there. Wasn't into them then but by summer 84-85 was living in share house near the bass player, Smiley on Cleveland st & knew him through the other folks in share house. Saw a Great show by Moffs @ the Strawberry hills pub one nite, meet friends there, wore my 60s shirt, Moffs live in a small room were fantastic, wish someone filmed that show. Now I'm old :-(
