800 mAh LiPo, stainless steel flybar, no flybar weights, HS-55 servos, Dragonfly4#1 head - she's a twitchy sporster with heaps of precession ... but what a hoot ... almost the best fun you can have indoors!

  • I have one of these and had a couple of crashes which made me quit and i havn't flown it in about 6-12 months. anyway its holidays now and i want to try again, charged it up and it doesn't generate enough lift to get it off the ground, My throttle is all the way up and it still won't get off the gruond

  • @duryduty

Get yourself a new battery - preferably an 800maH LiPo.

Be careful on the first flight as the LiPos have enormous bite and you will hit the ceiling if you give it too much power.

    Stick with it.

  • i got this heli a while ago but i still cant fly it. It always wants to go to the left even when i trim it. It seems impossible to fly any help would be appreciated

  • All helis which have main blades that rotate clockwise and a tail rotor which pushes to the right to counteract the main rotor torque will tend to fly to the left on takeoff. They are pushed left by the tail rotor. This is counteracted by a slight bank to the right.

As you are bringing up the power and the heli is getting light on the skids put on a little right roll input so that the heli rocks on to the right skid (as it tilts to the right) just before taking off.

    Stick with it !

  • Just got one of these Choppers. Hopfully I can fly like this in 6 months. So how manny parts did you go thru?

  • Lots - get Real flight sim and practise. If you can't do it on a sim, you won't be able to do it with a model.

  • @hypoxia88 can you suggest where i could order one online (there isn't a place in my town).

    Thanks

  • Brilliant flying!!!

Great control in such a confined space with obstacles around, I wouldn't even attempt to fly indoors with a heli of that size, lol. Nice video.

  • Haha, you blew over the mattress.

When I do this, I always get too much room turbulance. Same space, same chopper as you got to.

    Great skills there.

  • im getting 1 of them helis they r awsome were do u get plzz tell me before chrisy plzz

  • which is better, night ranger II or blade cp?

  • i will never fly mine indoors again.

of course the night ranger 2 was my very first rc heli, i took off im my living room and crashed right into the rear projection tv, the blades riped up that screen pertty good :)

after 4 sets of new blades and 2 sets of rotation holder parts, i can fly pertty well.

    flight simulator X helped me
