  • check my other videos - there is a movie chain simulation how to.

I used 2 kinematic joints to constrain roller to the path of chain movement :

1- point on curve - to attach center of roller to the central path

2- roll curve - to join contour of roller to the inner path

Drive wheels were made as a new mechanism that was synchronized with chain movement.

  • Firzd... Znaczy respekt czarnuchu.

  • I don't know really, but I think you might have missed one link? lol

  • You did roller, I'm about to have a crack with a static pin revolving around a sprocket...trying to use 'Slide Curve Joint'...will let you know how that works...will also post video if successful

  • I don't think this would be considered a "simulation" considering there are no physics involved.

    Despite, it looks great!

  • wow now make more sense! revolute joints need to be defined between chain?

  • hey iwanlukas how do you do that? revolute? gear joint? i thought of doing chain animation before, but it didnt work out!

    Let me know thanks!

  • Hy...you can describe how you do it?

    10x a lot..
