Chas And Dave - Live at The O2's 'IndigO2': An Idiot Invades The Stage

During the penultimate song 'Aint No Pleasing You', an idiot decides it would be great to jump the barriers onto the stage and wrap a Spurs scarf around Chas Hodges neck! Quickly bundled off by the security and Chas, Dave and their drummers carried on as though nothing had happened!

That may be the case, and it certainly is interesting to hear this, but for those of us on stage / in the wings, we weren't expecting it to happen, and so when your friend did jump the barrier, no one on stage was sure of his intentions. It certainly appeared that he may have intended to strangle Chas on stage. Stupid stunt, but seems to have been well intended.

I know the person who did this, his name is Joylon Daniels; and would like to say the following:

1) It was an orient scarf, he is an orient fan and follows them up and down the country.

2) He was bet to do this.

3) The person who bet him then donated a large amount of money to Macmillan cancer research, which, I and many others would have done in the same position, especially if we were highly drunk like Joylon.
