RIPP Modifications JEEP JK 3.8V6 Supercharger DYNO Pass

In this video you'll see RIPP's newest Supercharger Drive System (SDS) running on our in house tester, a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X. This system is currently being road tested in two production vehicles, the first is in Rough Country Suspensions Corp. vehicle, a 07 Rubicon running 5psi and 200whp on 35" tires and 17" wheels. The second in our truck running the 214whp you see in this video.

Keeping in mind that the Rear Wheel-HP (RW-HP or WHP) stock is just barely 130whp, in fact on our other video you can see us testing stock wheels and tires to 144whp. The system is a complete bolt on and needs no outside tuning, it installs in less than 8 hours with a basic mechanics tool set. Driving the SDS powered Jeep is not like driving a "boosted" vehicle, Vortech Superchargers have no lag, instead they build a progressively linear boost curve. So it feels like you're driving a larger displacement engine or that you added two more pistons. The gas mileage actually gets better than stock, initial test reports are showing 4 points in the city and 6 point on the highway, and if you can keep it at 55 we've reported 19-20mpg over a 30 mile trip.
