¡¡¡Bravo!!!
Un excelente BARITONO italiano con muy buena técnica .
Mucho mejor el papel con barítonos líricos o dramáticos con óptima técnica de canto que con "bajos engolados"

sembra un tenore....

I think the same.. I've listened to several pieces with different performers and I think this is absolutely the best (I'm italian and I even care about pronunciation).. fortunately, I spent my first shot with Bruscantini buying the EMI album (even if, unfortunately, that version is cut to fit in 2cds..)

I love Bruscantini, but that's not the role I prefer for him, he's an unsurpassed Don Alfonso and great Leporello, but his voice isn't dark enough for Figaro (I know many baritones have interpreted the role but I prefer a bass-baritone or a bass for this role).

Wow! I love his interpretation!
Many thanks for posting!
He is such a great performer!
Wow, I think Bruscantini was unsurpassable as a basso buffo. Thank you for posting this Onegin65.

this is the film'ONSUCH A NIGHT' you buy this film directly from the Glyndebourne shop at 10pounds. There is over 40mins of music with Bruscantini in this, but with Sena JURINACS complete Porgi Amor, the finale second act with Monica Sinclair/Hugues Cuenod/Ian Wallace, Contessa perdono to the end of the opera, plus the rehearsal of the Letter duet Elena Rizzieri/Jurinac and Carl Ebert.
