I discovered this band on a recent trip to Malta and was totally perplexed by the constant and simplistic comparisons to YYYs. I'm not surprised that some random, shit-talking fuckwad in Malta would make such clueless comments in a YouTube thread, but one would hope that music "journalists" (whether they write for $ or for fun) would be a little more informed. The singers that came to mind when I first heard them were Ari Up, Nico, Poly Styrene, Joan Jett, etc. Amazing band. U.S. tour, please!

Just goes to show how little people know about girl post punk bands if the only thing you can compare this to is the yeah yeah yeahs !Listen to X-Ray Specs, the runaways, the raincoats, the slits, young marble giants, css and about another 60 post punk girl -fronted bands and see what i'm talking about. The yeah yeah yeahs aren't the only girl- fronted alternative band u know - they've existed for years before you were born
