The final New York show and the last concert of the 1973 Tour. The opening numbers are just powered through and Jimmy's playing is spectacular! "I gotta put you straight on a couple of things. This year in America we decided to work extra hard, so we did two tours and this is the last night of the last tour." stated Plant at the beginning of the concert. Jones is excellent on bass and turns in some great keyboard playing, especially on No Quarter. Dazed And Confused is an excellent version and by Stairway To Heaven, the band has left mere mortal status. Moby Dick is immensely long and rather boring but from Heartbreaker to the end, there is a riot that has the crowd, as well as the listener, in an absolute frenzy ... the music's that good!

Well the Band seems Rejuvinated as they were Awesome.Me on the other hand I am worn out but I still manage to make it and survive Teresa and another Awesome show .This one is closer to the New Orleans show to me but My seats were not nearly as good as they had been the previous nights.I wanted to sneak down lower but Uncle said know afraid I would be lost in New York little old country bunkin me from little ole New Orleans LA.The Pot Smoke was worse up top so I think I had a contact High HA .When my uncle left the Couple next to us let us have a couple of quick hits of of one of thier joints Thank God for small favors.Oh yes guess what our wheels were a 1971 GTO Man that Car was fast.Rest in Peace Uncle Darrell Love YA Thanks for letting us stay for the encores.
