City Link grabs gold

Express delivery service and Parcel2Go partner City Link has received the top accolade for its health and safety scheme.

Company bosses were presented with a gold award by Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its outstanding Health and Safety practices.

Even though it's a still a relatively young business, it's leading the way in high workplace standards according to City Link's head of Health and Safety.

But City Link bosses say they're determined not to become complacent and will strive for gold again next year.

The company handles over 350,000 parcels daily and works with Parcel2Go as an alternative to the national postal service.
