  • Take a look at Dr Tedeschi's sculpture of Hippocrates on You Tube.

  • oh,,,almost forgot..the former is only understood provided someone actually knows what linear A is. And to everyone, if you have some kind of time machine and have heard a Minoan speaking and speaking greek then ...dunno! they didnt speak greek they had a language that archaeologists are struggling for years to decipher.

  • Baines, J., Bennet, J., and Houston, S. (eds) 2008. The

disappearance of writing systems: perspectives on literacy and

communication. London: Equinox, in press. you cannot find that book unless you have subscription to London library or are a master or phd student in archaeology and know the professor that compiled it. or if you can afford hmm dunno round 150 pounds?? i do have some bibliography if you are really interested in the archaeological truth rather than any static beliefs . enjoy ;)

  • "Nothing in the Linear A syllabary suggests that it was structurally dissimilar, although it appears that the phonetic structure of the language behind Linear A differed from that of Greek." "However, it had become clear, even before

the decipherment, that there were differences. With the decipherment came the realization that one important, underlying difference was language."
