@iluvmgsheaps2 Hey yes its normal i think microsoft just upgraded the fan so it wouldnt overheat but the 1st generation power brick doesnt really overheat i have left mine on all night and for downloading a game and it was silent i couldnt hear a thing but yeah its just normal for the fan to sound like that =D

@highstona777 hey i just got an xbox 360 slim 4gb last week and i just set it up, the xbox itself is very very silent, i can't even hear it but the power supply is noticable, its not loud but i can hear it when the xbox is idle at the home menu, and it blows cool air, is that normal?

@iluvmgsheaps2 yeah It could of just been a faulty power brick but yeah i don't think they give out the 1st generation power bricks anymore unless they still have a couple in stock you could be one of the lucky ones =D
