@BjornDanick - nope, the Smashing Pumpkins covered it. Alice Cooper did the original, written for him by David Carron in 1980.

I had no idea they covered this. In fact today, I was thinking how much I enjoy the Alice Cooper new wave era stuff, the perfect mix of hard rock and new wave and the only band I thought that's come close to the sound was the Epoxies.

This is the best cover version of this song.

Alice didn't write it. But it was written for him by David Carron and Alice recorded it for his 1980 album 'Flush the Fashion'. It was then covered by The Smashing Pumpkins and The Epoxies.

PLEASE this is a song written and performed originally by ALICE COOPER from one of his first ventures out side the Alice cooper band the whole album is great and very under rated

It's not abnormal for the Epoxies to make something sound... not new.
They're a new wave-centered band.
