quite possibly, you could pray for him (not prey on him), and ask GOD to open his eyes to some of these issues. maybe even talk to him, privately and reason with him, in a not so confrontational manner, huh? i believe dr brown has so much to offer, so much wisdom and insight in so many areas, i truly think its a shame to try to tear him to shreds, the way you are doing. i don't think this is of GOD. i think it's shameful

why do you seem to have such an in-your-face, confrontiveness? i thoroughly believe dr brown has a true heart for GOD. didn't the Bible say "come let us reason together"? can a man not bring up thoughts or issues without you condemning him as a heretic? i do believe GOD isn't finished with any of us yet and i'm sure GOD will teach dr michael brown many things before his life is thru and hopefully He'll break thru a little of your arrogance and teach you some things, too (as well as me).

@skoobalon Very good response. My sentiments exactly. Though I couldn't quite find the words. Thankfully this means I won't be called to debate, or defend, or state my position on anything other than free food.
I think you all know my stance on free food.

Dr. Michael Brown was a prominent figure and leader at the Brownsville Revival. I personally attended for a few days and Steve Hill the evangelist used Charles Finney tactics every night during the altar calls. The altar calls consisted of the leaders coming out (Dr. Brown included) and laying hands on people while they were falling out and rolling on the floor. Michael Brown defends the Brownsville Revival to this day so not surprised that he embraces Finney and his teaching.

chris, Charles finny just played a game that is very well used in this day in the church, if you look at how we in the us. we care alot about the "free will" the freedom to just do what we want, but that with in its own self is still not free, we are in the bounds of the governmental body, but yet finny, used this case of freedom to bring people to this felling that we are able out side of the "nature" of anything that is bad or good. finny just used what we like freedom to pick what we want sdg

Jerry said that Michael said that Finney said that Pelagian said... .
These are some very muddy academic waters you're swimming in.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. (1Co 2:2).
What someone said that someone said that someone possibly said about this-or-that person's interpretation of the Scriptures is completely irrelevant.
It's time to get out of the quagmire of reformed academia and do something meaningful with your life.

@fivepointbaptist Yes, Sir, Mr Watch Dog, Sir! I apologize! And thanks again! Aarrrgghhh!
What was it that Spurgeon said about Arminians: "Every road they go down, always ends up a dead end." The point is well made in Brown's case. Thanks Chris for being such a great watch dog for Truth!

Five points, Dr. B would probably argue that Joseph Armenius had some flawed theology. I don't want to put words in his mouth, but for the years I attended his school, and heard him preach countless times, I never heard him bring up Calvanism or Armenianism. It's not an argument he takes up.. So interesting that you posted this. I randomly came upon your vlog a year ago, finding your open air preaching videos, would never have expected you to bring up Dr. Michael Brown!

@stucerocks This video was not about Calvinism or Arminianism; its about Pelagianism and Browns denial that original sin and substitutionary atonement are relevant to the gospel.
