@mixed63 Actually he didn't chop off their heads, he had sword men to do that. Half of his wives would be three (half of six), but only 2 of them head their heads "chopped off" at the execution block.

Technically Henry was only married twice.To Jane Seymour and Katherine Parr.
He had his marriages to Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn and Anne of Cleeves annulled (NOT the same as divorce).
Catherine Howard was a bigamist who was, by the laws of the times, married to Francis Dereham.

I agree with others Henry started off very thin and handsome. He was active in activities like hunting and dancing (a pastime of he shared with Catherine and Anne) His mother and farther wear both thin figures, he was his lack of activities and diet later in life that made him overweight... Edward his son and Henry Fitzroy wear also thin.
