@butterbeanbby95 Sadly Warner Brothers has put a worldwide block on this movie, preventing anyone from uploading it. :(

For Shearer fans this is one to cherish always, her last drama film. Good (and yummy-looking) as the pre-WWII Robert Taylor was, Shearer's best scenes are with the great Conrad Veidt, playing another malignant Nazi officer, a virtual cousin of the one he plays in "Casablanca." Their final scene lets us say a proud adieu to the dramatic side of Norma, and only half look forward to the two limp comedies remaining before she takes her quiet goodbye of us.

I am trying to purchase the movie. Every place I look at says they are out of copies and expect some arriving soon. So I provide my email and they say they will notify me. That was four months ago.

Norma and Bob make a great job in this movie. There's no doubt that this was the Golden Age of Hollywood.
A little miscelanous: The movie was entitled like that in the following languages (written by alphabetical order):
Évasion (French), Evasión (Spanish), Fuga (Portuguese), Incontro senza domani (Italian), Oi fygades (Greek), Pobeg (Russian)

I've been looking for this film forever! I can't remember it too well (I saw it last as a teenager, I believe), but I do remember being profoundly touched by her performance. Even though the performances in the 30's was a bit over-acted, Norma Shearer could rip out your heart with just an expression.
