@Deke101 The way I view it is that If he was such as good person then he wouldn't have made as far as he has. Now I do not know what lurks within him, and neither do you, so I can't be all judgmental about him. All I wish to do is remind people that we have been let down MANY times before so just remember to "hope for the best but expect the worst." Thats my motto when it comes to most aspects of life, especially politics! I desire2 see a positive change in this world but history repeats itself!

@twistedcross Well he calls himself a republican, he acts like a republican, he sounds like a republican, so yes he is a republican. The thing is conservatives have overall contributed very little to American society, especially when it comes to governing.

@SeekerOfTruth7777 Ron Paul DOES sound like a good thing, however, he is utterly unelectable. The media hates him. That is a death sentence for a presidential candidate. His followers are labled as fringe kooks by the mainstream media while he is portrayed as an oddball himself. Look what they did to Perot. The media has a fair amount of sway over the masses and they know it. Sad but true.

Dont get your hopes up people... I know Ron sounds like the ideal president but how fast did we forgot that obama was deemed a hero of "change" and turned out to be a mere puppet. I doubt that if Ron was really aiming to disobey those who placed him as a senate he would have made it a candidate for presidency. What seems to be going on here though is that you guys are choosing the lesser of 2 evils... Dont get me wrong, I hope Ron is what he claims, but expect the unexpected if i were you...

Ron Paul: If he gets in office, the Senate and Congress will still not let him do what he is promising. In the end, people will blame Ron Paul for it, just as people are blaming Obama for that exact same thing.
