  • That little bitch barista should be slapped for not knowing who the senator and presidential nominee was. What does he do...watch cartoons all day?

  • Yes, another good point in this little clip is that the average morons are more interested in the choices when buying a coffee than who is elected to office. And such pretentiousness too, tall, grande or venti.

However, as I Dane I think the choices you are left with in your two party system is like buying a coffee with or without cream and sugar, McDonalds or Burger King, paper or plastic...

  • @jason79la I think this was before he began his camp.

  • @LancetheNG This was after the election.

  • Vinick is my favorite Republican candidate of all time (full disclosure, I'm a dem). This scene always made me sad because he was such a good, honest candidate. He's like the political mind of McCain mixed with integrity of Ron Paul, and if some Vinick-esque Republican ever ran for the presidency, I'd be terrified -- unless he were running against a Santos, McGarry, or Bartlet-esque candidate.

  • @streetcrazykenny Fair enough.

  • @bluesboy25000 I see Vinick closer to being Barry Goldwater than John McCain. Vinick has too much integrity to be compared to McCain or Huntsman.

  • I know everyone thinks of Vinick as McCain and I've read he is based off of him but he also reminds me of Huntsman. Think about it, a rational Republican who works for a Democratic President? The only difference the GOP in the West Wing was sane enough to pick him

  • I love the little hint of a smile on his face. Like it's so damn tragic that it's actually funny.

  • @RoInSM THAT comment made me laugh!

  • This scene never made sense to me. Not only did the counter guy not who that the man before just marginally lost a presidential election, no one else in the store seemed to notice either. This can never happen in real life.

  • @singdawg Noone is saying that he should get special treatment. But that the dude behind the counter dhould know who the Senator is.

  • @jason79la why should someone think he can get special treatment for their celebrity status?
