Concept of IP was carefully crafted by western countries (lead by USA) is the most important secrets of capitalism. Their intention was to qualify and reward knowledge/intelligence by creating IP protect laws, licensing and enforcement. It created functioning ecosystem which helped USA to become the super power and helped it to continue to remain dominent & the most influencial.
