  • the guy was giving feedback to make you better, so don't complain when he doesn't like it.

  • its kreepy...i dont like it..u could of made it better

  • They are when you're being specific and/or encouraging. Which I believe I was. Feel free to offer the same level of criticism of my remix.

But thanks for changing your mind about me. XD

  • ok.

    so you're not a hater.

words like "annoying" & "more creative than that"

aren't good choice words for constructive criticism.

  • lol, you have no idea what a hater is. And for someone asking ppl to leave a comment you're pretty whiny about them. XD

Finished my take on this song, btw.

  • you're a hater.

It's on youtube because I put it here.

  • Yes, "most music" is repetitive. Some (like this) more than others.

It's automatically panned left and right - pan effects.

Everything else (including the piano loop, not just your techno hats) goes quiet when the bass drum hits. That's compression pumping.

If you're not making music for others, why is it on youtube? ;) Besides, I'm only trying to make you hear the problems so you can fix them and make better stuff. I'm not saying it's crap.

And yeah, I'll give it a go.

  • hey why don't you give it a go?

i'd like to hear what you come up with.

  • Well, you now know there are listeners who don't like too repetitive music, with strange volume and pan effects, seemingly arhythmic drums, and compression pumping. Avoid making music like that and it'll appeal to more ppl, and they'll call it better.

For example, if you lower the bass drum volume or use a multiband compressor you'll get rid of that pump problem. If you use a midi of the Zelda melody you can easily vary the melody.

    There, more helpful?

  • yes.

    and you're not helping, sorry.
