  • @MrConnolly25 ha ha ok i take your point on being to far back in this race but i still think hed have won .i think harchibald is type of horse that could make any jockey look like a clown.he was a horse with an unbeliveably high cruising speed which was faster than most horses could run flat to mat but for me he just couldnt quicken of that high cruising speed and thats why i think he made carberry look like he made a balls of it.just my opinion of course.

  • @wilkeat01 I never said Harchibald would have beaten Brave Inca i said he was never put in a position to even challenge that was clearly the case.I have seen thousands of hold up horses my point is he was too far back in this particular race.In the champion hurdle it was crystal clear Carberry cost Harchibald the race and on neither occasion did i back Harchibald lol

  • @MrConnolly25ha ha it still pocket talk i take it you backed harchi at cheltenham aswell as leopardstown.i never mentioned o grady that was another poster.bottom line harchi only finished in front of brave inca 1 time in 7 meetings and that was in 05 champion.harchi is a great horse in his own right but brave was in a different league. 10 grade 1s includin a champion, 2 irish champ,a supreme, hattons e.t.c.harci won 5 but fightin 5th, kempton hurdles different calaber of grades 1

  • @MrConnolly25 And just for the record no i have never ridden in a horserace i have ridden hundreds of horses though and i was at cheltenham 05 and was 1 of thousands who thought Carberry cost Harchibald the race. This rae is a little different as Carberry never allowed him to challenge

  • @wilkeat01 You idiot, Carberry never put the horse in a position to even challenge Brave Inca.Harchibald was clearly cantering all over everything in the race but he was too far back to challenge.Your O'grady quote (i don't know who he is) as Noel Meade trained him holds no strength check the races he beats Punjabi or Rooster Booster.

  • @MrConnolly25 better horses than harcibald have tried and failed to pass the bravest of the brave.pathetic pocket talk from someone who has never ridden in a race before.

  • @Rab1802 this in my opinion was an awfull ride from carberry who again in my opinion was trying to prove what had previously happened at cheltenham was'nt his fault i.e holding harchibald up an not going past.i think most horses would empty given rides like this1 an the champion you watch harchibald beating rooster booster or punjabi on neither occasion was harchibld given a ridiculous amount to do an he won carberry for years has held horses up at the back an won however its harder to do in g1

  • @maxtudor its funny how they all say harcibald had to be ridden this way as i witnessed harchibald beat an ageing but still high class rooster booster on the bridle in a quick time he also hit the front a couple of furlongs out an never ''emptied'' its nonesense an down to in my opinion carberry panicking as at cheltenham he cruised upsides hardy eustace a tough horse an carberry immedietly began swinging his whip thus unsettling the horses rhythm and himself panicking the horse out of it

  • Another shocking ride by Carberry, he must have laid Harchi

  • ogrady is spot on, this is the only way Harchibald can be ridden, as soon as he goes off the bridle he empties quicker than a bucket full of holes.

  • have to disagree with you there.......thats the only way harchi could be ridden

  • poor ride from the favourite!

  • i loved brave inca. such a classy and gutsy horse. never knew when he was beat

  • I think this is the Irish equivalent of Kempton's Christmas Hurdle at its meeting. The venue is Leopardstown.

  • ur rite

  • This isnt the aig.
