Mike 'Spike' Edwards gets the chance of a lifetime to ride Chris Wilson's very rare works KR 750 round the famous Belgium track of Spa Francorchamps in the Bikers Classics event 2009. Although it was raining lightly and the track was damp, Mike was not going to miss out on this fantastic opportunity to ride the bike, albeit tenatatively.

  • nice!!! thx 4 posting!! cheers

  • Thank SO MUCH to the guys who take the trouble to make, and post, these videos. This is the closest I'll ever get to riding an H2R so KEEP 'EM COMING!

  • Mike the Spike was clearly taking it gently on this elderly killer. This is the racer most commonly described as "hinge-in-the-middle"; Kawasaki took longer than just about anybody else to figure out handling and suspension. This model at Daytona was a fierce fright. Mr. Otsuki, aka "Mr. Horsepower" designed the Mach III series - he came from a background as a jet engine designer. They had the beans but look out for the brakes and the handling. Scary.

  • what a lovely crackle!!!!
