There is No God, Except the One God.

It is not forbidden in Islam.
For example, the Prophet David. He was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, am i wrong?

mmmm I'm not an expert but I think that as long as music don't make you forget or keep you from doing the obligations that you have to do as a muslim (e.g. prayers etc.) then it's ok...

let them be and let them see we can only make duas for our brothers and sisters inshallah and Ramadan Mubarek to everyone

1stly im not a brother im a sister. 2ndly we do have beats in our nasheed with a drum. some instruments are halal. at the end of the day time will tell when we are all punished for our sins. its better to keep away from things we believe are bad with that i agree. but the ummah really needs to just search into islam and educate themselves instead of arguing with one another. Islam is the most beautiful most peaceful religion known to man yet our ummah are ruining a lot of things we stand for.

i agree with you brother and music is haram on all occasion and about hadiths nasheed is differnt things and music is diffrent thing. if you listen to naat they dnt put any music at the back? when we recite quran why dnt we put music at the back? just answer this question my brother?
-
I no av heard music is haram on several occasions. but then if you look at hadiths they sang nasheed and things. i no ur just gonna say that outlandish dnt sing those but music cant be avoided its not like going to the pub or something. wherever you go you can hear it. i dont like a lot of music i generally like a song with meaning.
inshallah allah will grant us to be amongst those of knowledge.
Peace

unconsious not as in when u dont know whats going on
unconsious as in when you totally get lost in music. I am not a scholar that i can explain in details but i can bet you if you ask any scholar who knows about islam he will tell you its not allowd any kind of music.
if u say sum kind of music is allowd then why dont they play it in mosque? as chritian do? how come they tell us to switch of our mobiles?
