Self-Management and Recovery Training. It is a 51(c) self-help support group. It's national, although nowhere near as large as a 12-step sort of group or GA, but it is available in some larger cities. For more information visit http://www.habitdoc.com
@cjanderson103 They don't charge anything to attend meetings or to use their website or chat room. It costs nothing, and it worked for me. AA did not work because it is just faith healing. I needed faith in myself and real-world techniques to organize my thoughts and enhance my motivation to quit.
I have 3 years without a drink. SMART worked.

I tried to contact them in Perth Australia, but the email and phone number were kaput...
Any suggestions on how to contact 'em in Western Australia?

@Hammersley1967 No, SMART Recovery does not use a reptilian brain model. You may be thinking of another method.

@Hammersley1967 SMART Recovery is active in the UK, Australia, Canada, Iran, Switzerland, France, Vietnam, Poland, and many other places. The Handbook is available in many languages as well.

Doesn't it still promote a "reptilian brain" explanatory model of addiction?
It's still a pathophysiological model, and it's still not scientifically substantiated...

If SMART is so god damn effective, then why, after 20 years, is it STILL a pissant little support group that doesn't exist anywhere outside of the USA?
